Lori: Rhythm of Dreams

Lori’ is a traditional form of song especially sung by mothers to make a baby asleep. The play ‘Lori: Rhythm of Dreams’ tells story of a young brother from the perspective of his elder sister who is traying to make her infant brother sleep in the swings by singing lori songs but falls asleep instead. Knitted in a storytelling format of Kirat rituals, the play is a fantasy and imagination of the girl regarding her brother and herself, their struggles, happiness and career. The play had been premiered in Yean Lung Theatre of Hong Kong for Nepalese speaking community.
