Mandala Theatre-Nepal has been able to complete the building and finalize the date for the official opening of its new and comprehensive theatre space “New Mandala” located at Thapagaun, Kathmandu. Right honorable vice president of Nepal, Nanda Bahadur Pun has agreed to inaugurate the venue at 3 pm on Thursday, 3rd March 2022.
With the Mandala’s core members, young and enthusiastic theatre artists’ investment, and labor contribution, possibly we now have the largest high quality independent theatre hall in Nepal with the capacity of around 200 audiences. We also have classrooms equipped with all required facilities and dormitories for residential artists. All these have further encouraged us to continue our work more sincerely and to be a changemaker in Nepali society through our theatrical works.
On this auspicious occasion, we would like to invite you all to shower your love and support to the movement of independent Nepali theatre. We invite you all to enrich the opening and inauguration ceremony.
