Mandala Theatre-Nepal aims to make its performances and other activities equally accessible to everyone. Since, Mandala’s founding team is a mixture of people with different ethnic and indigenous, religious, geographical background, we always promote inclusion in theatre arts. Moreover, Mandala’s stage is accessible to wheelchair users with a ramp leading to the stage.
Many of the past productions by Mandala have been visited by people with visual impairment together with their supporters. As there are increasing numbers of audiences from deaf community and other persons with disabilities to Mandala shows, we tried to include simultaneous sign language translation and other strategies in the last festival we organized.
