Mandala Theatre-Nepal will host the tenth edition of THEATRE LAB at the beginning of April this year. THEATRE LAB is a short term theatre qualification program being conducted by Mandala Theatre-Nepal for novice theatre learners. It had been launched as the group practice among enthusiast theatre learners and artists for the first time in 2012. It was developed as production-oriented theatre training in the following years.
THEATRE LAB invites participants to explore their theatre-practice through three-month-long participatory-based activities, research-based production process, and practical conservatoire teaching. With this program, Mandala is committed to produce and promote future artists in the theatre field who are equipped to be a driving force of innovation in their chosen careers. Mandala has completed TENTH seasons of the program with some remarkable productions.

Form Submission: Tuesday 15th to Sunday 27th Chaitra 2078 (29th March-10th April 2022)
Interview Audition: Monday 28th Chaitra 2078 (11th April 2022)
Result publish: Tuesday 29th Chaitra 2078 (12th April 2022)
Admission: Wednesday 30th Chaitra 2078 to sunday 04 Baishakh 2079 (13th – 17th April 2022)
Class: Monday 5th Baishakh 2079 to Sunday 12th Ashadh 2079 (18th April – 26th June 2022)
Rehearsal: Monday 13th Ashadh 2079 to Wednesday 11th Shrawan 2079 (27th June – 27th July)
Production Date:
- Thursday 12th Shrawan 2079 (28th July 2022)- Grand Rehearsal and Test Performance.
- Friday 13th Shrawan 2079 (29th July 2022)- public show
- Sunday 29th Shrawan 2079 (14th August 2022) Closing ceremony
