Wounds of War

4 short plays based on experiences of victims and survivors of ten-year long armed conflict in Nepal

Wounds of War

Wounds of War is a joint collaborative production developed by students of Mandala’s Drama School 1st Batch as their PRACTICE PRODUCTION. Based on experiences of conflict victims and survivors, 16 students of Drama School prepared and presented 4 short plays during Memory 30th August, a commemoration ceremony to mark the international day against enforced disappearance. Each short play carries different issues of violent armed conflict of Nepal such as forceful disappearance, killing, physical torture and sexual violence, displacement, and disability. The play had been shown LIVE through Mandala’s official Facebook page and YouTube channel and is still available in those platforms.
