Adapted from the same-name story written by Indra Bahadur Rai, renowned Nepali language writer from India, the play portrays a social tradition from the time of Rana regime in Nepal where people used to be sentenced to death if found married with an already-married woman. The play emphasized on the importance of love instead of dilemma and sorrows in human life. It’s the third batch play production of Mandala’s short term theatre course Theatre Lab.
