Aarop is a play that describes the psychological changes of an adolescent girl among a group of adults. It highlights the curiosity and leading-challenges of youths in contemporary time. Saurabhi is a young girl who is deluded for her feeling of being an adult. She discovers her feelings for her elder sister’s boyfriend while seeing romantic moment between them. The story takes a dramatic turn, as Saurabhi tries to express her feelings to her sister’s boyfriend. The boy as he is quiet familiar with both the sisters and even to male members of the family, tries to deal it politely, but stubborn Saurabhi starts fighting. Her sister misunderstands this fight scene between Saurabhi and her boyfriend, which is further reinforced by Saurabhi blaming him for scene of sexual harassment. She quickly breaks of her relation with the boy and the story ends as she finds out the truth in a series of events.
