This collaboration brings an opportunity for the Mandala Drama School’s students to become makers of the play and performers for the Lab fourteenth student.
Play Summary:
Radha, just eleven days into her second pregnancy and living with her mother because her husband, Keshav had abandoned her a month ago. Gossip of their relation spread around society worrying her family about Radha and her kids’ future. They sought police help to find Keshav.
After a search, Keshav was located but the case couldn’t lead forward. He visits Radha’s family to settle this matter; he offers a solution highlighting Radha’s mother’s duty and offers to fulfill his father’s duty by being financially available. Despite initial hope, as Keshav declares he won’t return, it sparked a heated debate among Radha’s relatives and Keshav about Radha’s and their children’s wellbeing.
Amidst the emotional turmoil, Radha stood strong. Realizing her reliance on Keshav and prioritizing her children’s well-being, she made a decision. It was a turning point as Radha decided to reshape her life beyond her expected role in marriage.
