Nugdha (The Inner Soul)

  • Nugdha is a heartfelt drama about a young man from an ordinary family who dreams of competing in the World Dance Championship. Despite his father’s disapproval of his
  • pursuit, he perseveres and enters the competition. Tragically, during the final
  • performance, he suffers a severe back injury that leaves him with a long-term disability. As if this weren’t enough, he also loses his mother shortly after, plunging into an abysmal depression which turns him almost mute.
  • The play explores the protagonist’s emotional and psychological journey as he battles his inner demons. It is a story of resilience and self-acceptance, showing how he eventually makes peace with his condition and finds a way to be happy again despite his circumstances. Nugdha is a powerful exploration of dreams, loss, and the strength of the human spirit.
