Rogan is an experimental and absurd play which arises questions about socio-political practices of manipulating working class people and their dreams. The play has a setting of a workplace for painters, who are somehow known and unknown to each other and sharing their experiences with each other through physical and verbal dialogue. The play was staged as the opening play of Mandala’s new performance venue at Thapagaun, Kathmandu thus become the first play staged at New Mandala. The play is a student production from Madnala’s regular theatre course Theatre Lab 8.
