About the play:
This project is planned to entertain the audience in highly artistic and creative way which is a big challenge for us. Making a play out of story is also another challenging job. However, our previous experience, successful stories of project completion and dedicated team members gives us strong motivation and confidence to translate our vision into action the play will be staged in comedy genera but in very standard way. It will be prepared in a naturalistic form where audience can relate and find themselves in the play. Though this is fairy tale and entertaining but in the deep we are sharing our own happiness and sorrows. And the difficulties of living in this present time. We all need friend; we all need person who listen and talk to us. We all need that one buddy from the beginning to the end of our life. We all have that person as an idol. We all are guided and fooled by people around us. We all have loosed and gained. The play is all about us.
This play is originally based on fairy tale and connects theatre to folk tales in a balanced relationship. The play will also be an extensive marketing buildup to bring a large audience to see an authentic Nepali folk tale in theatre.
Bringing Folk tales in Theatre initiative is the unique opportunity for Nepalese youth to visually experience the stories of our own society. Its primary objective is to promote and facilitate the writing of folk tales for a theatre production and perform the play in Kathmandu for a limited period of time.
