Mandala theatre Nepal performed their play "Charandas Chor" for the last time of this session on Sunday, Jeshtha 5 (19th May). This play was being staged continuously from 13th of Baiskah 2070 everyday (except Mondays)

The participation of audience was encouraging in all shows. Media Coverage of this play was also fantastic. Overall we can proudly say that "Charas Das Chor" was a successful play.

Mandala Theatre Nepal is going to perform a new play "Charandas Chor (The Honest Theif) from Baiskah 13- Jestha 05, 2070 as its next venture. The play is written by Mr. Habib Talwa and is Directed by Rajan Khatiwada. It is a indian play written in 20th century but its theme is still fresh and is suitable for Nepali Society. The main actors of this play are- Rajan Khatiwada, Biijaya Baral, Buddhi Tamang, Suraj Yadav, Mishri Thapa, Bikash Joshi, Sulakshan Bharati, Umesh Tamang, Raj Thapa, Pradeep Kumar Chuadhary, Nazir Hussian and Srijana Subba.

This play is a satirical comedy. This play was brought to three cities of Nepal in 2011 by Miteri Theatre Tour, a program supported by BP Koirala Nepal India Foundation, Emabssy of India. Charandas Chor, based on a famous Indian play by Habib Tanvir, proved a grand Nepali show in the direction of Rajan Khatiwada. The play narrates a story of an honest thief who even goes to the extent of sacrificing his life for the sake of his words. This play has been performed 35 times in different places of Nepal.

Mandala Theatre Nepal is going to perform a new play "Ghungrieko Kapal (The Curly Hair) from Baiskah 4-12, 2070 as its next venture. The play is written by Rajan Mukarang and is Directed by Dayahang Rai. The play is based on one of the folk stories that is popular in Kirat Religion. Rajan Khatiwada, Srijana Subba, Srijana Adhikari and Buddhi Tamang are the actors of this play.

This play was prepared for the Family theatre project of Mandala Theatre which was sponsored by Danish Embassy (DANIDA). The play was performed in 12 different cities of the country during the project and it was warmly accepted by many audience.
